It was SO nice to see one of my good friends, Annie, from grade/high school again! It had been years and it was a lot of fun catching up with her. It's crazy how fast time slips by us. Her daughter was such a ham and did such a great job at their session. :)
It has been so fun watching this sweet family grow. :) When Jessica asked me about taking their family portraits this fall, I was so excited to work with them! Those kiddos couldn't get any cuter, and their love for each other is so adorable. What a magical evening we had in the garden. <3
These two had me laughing all through our session and were so easy-going and genuine! They clearly adore each other and made my job SO easy! Rachel and I actually dubbed these photos as their "post-nuptial photos," as they were married in Eureka Springs, AR in September. Loved the location and the beautiful people!
This young man is just full of light and was so laid back and natural during our session together. I loved going out in the country for his session...I'm admittedly a little obsessed with tall grass. :D This guy is meant for great things!
Wow!!! It's been a long time since I have done a blog post. I had a little break from sessions for a bit, but I am back and the fall season is gonna be crazy! But first...stop whatever you are doing and just take in this beautiful wedding!! Ryan and Kara had their day planned down to every last detail, and although the flooding took over the weekend, they didn't let it stop them from having the perfect day. <3 I loved everything about it, and I know you will too!!
I had to admit, I had never done commercial work before. It was a little nerve-wracking, as I was doing a new style with new equipment, but I love how they turned out! I was honored to work with Forge Fitness to take photos of some of their clients to use for their website and facebook page. Here's my favorites from the sessions.
This pretty lady has a great heart and a lot of drive. She an aspiring nurse (yay!) and I just know she will do great things with her life. We had a great time scoping out a new-to-me location, which is one of my new favs. And she looks stunning in her photos! Here's the highlights from our time together. :)
What can I say about the Moeder family? They were stunning and TONS of fun!! Those kiddos were fantastic at sitting for the photos and we had the most beautiful location on their property. I am slightly obsessed with docks, so I was thrilled to see their pond and huge dock. We definitely took advantage. They all made my job so easy!
One of my best friends wanted to surprise her husband with photos of their beautiful little girl as a Father's Day gift. Of course, I was happy to accomplish this!! Charlotte has the most gorgeous eyes, don't you think??
So, I had this super amazing opportunity to work with Ilusion Productions Studio on a day full of engagement sessions! It was crazy busy, really humid, and tons of fun. :D It was so cool to see how different each couple was and to hear their story, and it amazed me how different each session turned out despite being in the same location. I hope I was able to do each couple justice in telling their unique love story. <3
