{Tori: Senior 2018, Part II}

Tori claims my first true spring session for 2018! Although two days ago, (during this first week of April), we had SNOW. This just isn't right!!

But...Tori's session was full of warm sunlight and a light breeze. We couldn't have asked for better weather! Although the scenery was still a little brown, Tori wore the perfect top to brighten things up. <3 This girl graduates in less than a month!! I wish her all the best in her next step in life.

{Breanna: Senior 2018}

You know, with each new senior session, I keep saying it is my favorite one so far. This one is no exception! I just can't get over how beautiful all my senior girls have been this fall and winter!! Breanna was a joy to work with, up for anything, and so sweet. She is going to be off to K-State next year to be in vet school--so awesome! Best of luck with everything in your future, Breanna. :)

{Katie: Senior 2018}

This girl started our session out saying she wasn't good at being in photos or knowing how to pose. I quickly learned she was wrong! Katie is just gorgeous and it was so easy to photograph her! Our session was full of silly faces, tall grasses, and pretty sunlight. Some of my favorite things! Katie is that perfect mixture of tomboy and girly girl. I can't wait for the second half of her session in the spring!

{Van Allen/Harmon Cousins Mini}

I'm not gonna lie. When I found out that my subjects for this session were going to be two 3-year-olds and an 8-month-old, I was slightly terrified! It was the first session I have done with that many that little at once. But those kiddos did so amazing! They listened to instructions and smiled and interacted. Between that, those gosh darn adorable overalls, and being down on the farm, this session was just too cute to handle. :)

{Spencer Family}

This is definitely one of my favorite family sessions in a long time! The colors, the lighting, the outfits...and Tyler and Jordan are SO photogenic! It was the absolutely perfect evening for photos. It was one of those rare Kansas days without any wind. At the end of the session, we just happened to be by a dirt road, and when cars drove by, the dust just hung in the air causing an incredible sunray effect with the light. It was pure magic. <3

{Tori: Senior 2018}

We found some great places for part 1 of Tori's senior session! This girl practically posed herself the entire session. How have I gotten so lucky with this fall's seniors?? Tori is a band kid, just like I was, and has such a pretty smile when I could squeeze one out of her. ;) Looking forward to part 2 in the spring!

{Amber: Senior 2018}

Amber is such a free spirit! Quirky and adventurous...she was up for anything! She climbed a fallen tree, crawled into a little tunnel through the forest brush, and let me use some spots I have been wanting to use for a couple years now! Not to mention, Amber was model-material in front of the camera. I never had to direct her into another pose or to change facial expressions...she did it automatically. Made my job pretty easy! We also had plenty of laughs. Good luck on your next adventure, Amber!

{Mr. & Mrs. Engels}

There was a TON of love in the Engels wedding day, I'm telling you!! Karen and Nathan are just amazing people and perfect for each other. This autumn-themed wedding was just gorgeous, down to every detail--and I got to check another item off my photography bucket list by getting to shoot at Botanica! Although the weather had other plans and the reception had to be moved indoors, we were able to sneak in plenty of outdoor photos before the rain hit. I was SO honored to be a part of their special day. Congratulations, Karen & Nathan!! I wish you all the joy and happiness in the world as you start the rest of your lives together. <3

{Mara: Senior 2018}

Mara was such a joy to work with! She is a fantastic makeup artist and is involved in a lot of Clearwater High School's activities. We laughed throughout our session together, and she told me at the beginning that she had "been working on my serious face." haha...she didn't need to work on it! That girl is gorgeous!! "Make me look fabulous," she said. I hope I was able to do just that. <3 I know you will go on to do great things, Mara!!
