{Recent Head Shots}

I am SO behind on my blogging this year!! This spring and early summer, I had the pleasure of taking some head shots for Newman University students as well as the son of a friend of mine. I enjoy doing head shots, and would love the opportunity to do more in the future! Here is a little peak into some that I did.

{Kara+Ryan: Engaged}

It was such a joy seeing Kara, one of my college roommates, again!! It had been such a long time!

These two were so amazing to work with and their love for each other radiated around them! We had a wonderful time at the Arboretum with some gorgeous scenery!! You couldn't have asked for a better day. They made my job pretty darn easy. :)

{Whitnie+Michael: Expecting}

I just love when I get to do a session with one of my best friends.  I had the honor of shooting Whitnie and Michael's wedding back in December of last year.  I can't believe that less than a year later, I had the honor of capturing the memories of the pregnancy of their first child together!  I am so excited to meet little Charlotte in January.  :)  With such fun and loving parents, she will be in wonderful hands!

{The Kocher Family}

We beat the December THUNDERSTORMS for this photo shoot! Can you believe that?!  This has certainly been a crazy year of weather. But I am not going to complain about the fair temperatures, because that means I can sneak in some December sessions before the year is over.  :)  I just love a family that is so natural and fun in front of the camera...that is what I got with the Kocher family!  And I just LOVED their coordinating outfits too.  By the end of the session, the fog was already starting to roll in, so I'm glad we made the decision to move it up in the day. Just check out the love these guys have fore each other!

{Loger Family}

Who woulda thought that a dentist office would be a great location for family portraits? Well...this girl.  ;)  I have been scoping it out for months now, and when I sent a few photos to Nickie she was all for it!  We had a fun time exploring and still caught some of the beautiful fall foliage before it disappeared.

{Therrell Family}

I have to admit, I'm kind of obsessed with this session...Everything from the outfits, to the location, to the lighting, to the colors!!  <3  Just LOVE it all!!  I had a great evening in Haysville with this beautiful family. Their kiddos were cracking me up with their silly faces in between frames, and we got to romp around in the fall leaves...which who doesn't love that?!  Fun, fun, fun.

{Headley Family}

It was a chilly morning on the Headley farm, that's for sure!!  But you would never guess it based on their photos.  They rocked out their session (some in short sleeves none-the-less) that morning.  I always love using places that mean something personally to my clients. :)  It definitely adds something to their photos!

{Cash Kids}

These were the cousins of the Haslett kids, so we did our session all together.  It was like one big party!  The evening and scenery were just amazing, and these kids rocked too.  :)  Not only that, but their momma was one of my middle school English teachers back in the day!  It was great getting to see her again and tell her about how I still know which words not to end sentences with because of her. (Prepositions of course!) ;)
